Our DPEC General Meeting Statement

St. Tammany Parish DPEC holds monthly meetings on the third Thursday of every month at 6:45pm.

These are public meetings and we encourage public participation.

EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE GENERAL MEETING STATEMENT (2021)

DPEC general meeting are meant to provide the public information on the Democratic party - particularly through the efforts of St. Tammany DPEC.

In advance of our general meetings, respective committees meet to discuss strategies that support St. Tammany DPEC'S goals and mission to move forward the Democratic party.

DPEC appreciates all the invaluable suggestions and questions; but the general meetings are not meant for planning and strategizing but to simply report the respective committees' summaries and updates.

As the chair of St. Tammany DPEC, I would respectfully request that planning and strategizing be done in advance of general meetings by attending respective committee meetings for those discussions.  Our website has our current committees and the respective chairs' contact information. 

We need to remain respectful of everyone's time and their respective positions.  Moving forward with this request should ensure this happens effortlessly.
